Cyrus Behrana, LPC
I believe our experiences shape how we see the world and ourselves. Difficult experiences can influence core beliefs that affect self-esteem, relationships, internal dialogue, and the way we approach challenges. I also believe those beliefs are not fixed. With the right support, insight, and practical tools, meaningful change is possible.
My approach focuses on building awareness, strengthening coping skills, and fostering resilience. Together, we will identify your strengths, develop a growth-oriented mindset, and create effective strategies to help you navigate challenges with greater confidence and clarity.
I work with individuals and families experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, trauma, relationship and communication concerns, conflict, social challenges, and parenting issues. My training includes Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist, EMDR, CBT, Positive Behavior Support, Executive Functioning and ADHD support, Sand Tray, Play Therapy, and Attachment-based approaches.
I also bring extensive experience working within school systems and special education settings. I collaborate closely with educators, parents, and support teams to advocate for students, conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), and develop effective, strength-based Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). This background allows me to support children and families in navigating school-related challenges while promoting skill development, positive behavior change, and long-term success.
I value creating a supportive, collaborative therapeutic relationship where clients feel understood and empowered. You can expect consistent support, clear goals, and an active role in your treatment as we work toward balance, resilience, and lasting change.
